Queralt Lencinas works and lives in Madrid, Spain and sue is graduated in Fine Arts at the University Complutense (Madrid) at the Fine Arts faculty. She got formation also at the National Art School Villa Arson (Nice, France) and at the Visual Art Program of the University of Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) as international student.
In the last years, her work is mainly focused in the image in movement, passing through traditional animation techniques to digital video. Her photographic and video projects are based in the special effects and the digital postproduction process, including her work in the conceptual context of the illusion and the artifice of the image faced towards our contemporary culture. The main subject of her last works is landscape as scenario with aesthetic and cultural content attached to a bunch of geographical and social conditions.
As young artist Queralt Lencinas has participated in different solo and group shows in Spain, France, Canada, Hungary and Mexico.
